Chosen Hope Summer Mission in Zambia

Zambia was an amazing experience - thanks to all who helped make it happen! Below are some photos from the Zambia Project.

Thanks to a dear friend, we took along 180 handmade backpacks to give to students in the Faithworks schools. Here are 3 of the 18 we gave away at the party at House of Moses.

This is a class at one of the schools we visited. The teacher pictured will be one of the many recipients of the textbooks we were able to purchase through your generous donations

Each child receives a meal at the Faithworks schools. This woman is making the porridge they will eat for lunch…with her baby close by!

Thanks to a great family connection we took 800 infant ID bracelets to the House of Moses.

The praise team from the Jesus Army Church visited our guest house for a great night of music, dancing and dinner! There is nothing like the blending of their voices!

Cherise, the beautiful little girl that Lori fell in love with.

A typical day for kids who don’t attend school. Kids taking care of kids…just hanging out.

Gift, at the Garden Nursery loves our penguin, Larry!

Jane with two babies from the toddler room at House of Moses. In the background Joel, Simon & Hopewell practice a new song for Sunday at church.

This fragile little boy was abandoned by his 15 year old mother and left in a pit—which is how he earned his name, Joseph.

The 3 – 6 year olds at the Kanyama Nursery were the lucky recipients of these great handmade scarves!

Lori & Libby (another team member) hang out with the babies at House of Moses to help them with their sensory development.
