Fall / Christmas 2005
We are
so excited to tell you more about your upcoming
project for fall & Christmas 2005! We
have been asked to partner with Mars Hill
in Grandville in an effort to deepen their
international connections, especially in
South Africa & Rwanda. We are in meetings
and conversations very heavily right now
trying to best determine our involvement
and eventually, YOUR involvement! We can't
wait to share the specifics, but in the meantime
please check out our
favorite pictures from Lori's recent trip!
Located south of Rwanda in the tiny Central African country of Burundi, The Rainbow Centre is a haven for vulnerable babies who have been abandoned, orphaned, or who are struggling to live with HIV. The center, coupled with its community outreach program called "TWIZERE", reaches hundreds of children and their care givers each month.

The Legacy Centre is located in the squatter village known as Kayamundi in the town of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Sponsored and supported by Stellenbosch Gemeente (a local church), The Legacy Centre provides much-needed resources to the residents of Kayamudi, many of whom are suffering from HIV/AIDS.
